Holly’s Garden Pinot Gris’ is unctuous and voluptuous.
There are complex aromas of freshly baked sourdough with hints of rose water, honey and Tarte Tatin.
Whilst being a very rich, slightly sweet wine, Holly’s Garden Pinot Gris is balanced but terrific acidity and also soft phenolics derived from yeast lees and fermentation in large oak puncheons.
It is a powerful, luscious wine with nuances of golden delicious apples and ripe pears. Rich flavours of Brioche are balanced by Grapefruit and Tangerine acidity.
Pinot Gris is one of the great food wines and compliments a broad range of dishes. It is great with the rich flavour of Fois Gras or pate as well as terrines. It is also wonderful with Asian flavours including Chilli or aromatic spices and herbs.
